Greg Sailors is a good man and a great friend. I love the vision and goals of Ancient Path, especially because it is an expression of Greg‘s God-given talent; his glory. Greg‘s love for God and for the restoration and redemption of men in Jesus pulses through All he does. Let’s go!

Greg‘s passion for Jesus and his desire to see men draw close to the father has been an incredible journey to watch and participate in. I am so excited to be a part of ancient path and all that it will do for the hearts of men and the kingdom.

What does the Ancient Path mean to me. Good question. It all started when I met Greg Sailors. That was a meeting I knew was blessed from the beginning.  Greg has invited me into a bigger story. Bigger than I would have ever written for myself. He encourages without fear and leads with an understanding that we all have something to add to the adventure. Whether it's fishing for Trout in Montana or a spring turkey hunt in North Carolina. Im proud to call him my friend and to start my journey on the Ancient Path.

For 30 years I sat dying in the pew and it wasn't until I was invited into the mountains into the wild and the waters that I truly came alive and heard God speak to me for the very first time. This invitation to walk with God has changed the trajectory of my life. I'm no longer afraid to live or better yet to die.

Walking the Ancient Path was never something I intentionally set out to do. But over the past few years, spending time with Greg on various adventures, I’ve come to realize that I have been walking it all along. This path—rooted in the foundations, principles, and teachings of God—has helped me navigate life with less fear, anxiety, and frustration. It has led me toward a sense of spiritual well-being I didn’t even know I was seeking. My favorite place to experience God’s presence and teachings is on the river. Alone, surrounded by His creation, I find true joy and rest. It’s there that I feel closest to Him—still, quiet, and fully present.

There is a different kind of peace when your on the Ancient Path journey, the noise of the world seems to exit the space you are in and adjusting your ears to calling of GOD in your life. Can only experience when you’re on the water or standing in the water hooking up to that trophy trout that you have been thinking about. I truly enjoy being in GODS creation and with men that are seeking the LOVE OF THE FATHER. You can experience Love most any where but he seems for me he meets me in the coolness of the morning while I hear the morning come alive in his glory. The path may not be Ancient but it makes you come alive in your soul.

Jesus often withdrew to the wild places to be with His Father. Some of my best memories with my dad, with close friends, and alone with Abba—just as Jesus did—have been on the river, in the woods, and along the trail. These are the ancient paths, where the noise and chaos of life are not allowed to intrude. Greg and his team will guide you down these streams and trails—into the wilderness of your own heart, both literally and spiritually. The rest is up to you.

Sitting next to the creek, with my journal and pen in hand, after some amazing guidance by the Ancient Path team I began to uncover my identity as a beloved son. I started to lean into the passions that were wired into my heart from the beginning. Thank you Jesus, and Ancient Path, for setting me on the path to fullness of life.

Greg and his  love for helping men get their wild back has been instrumental in my walk with God. Ancient Path events have helped me slow down and listen for the voice of God , my family is the beneficiary of a better father.
